Dr. Godfrey Bahiigwa
PrésidentDirector at the Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture of the African Union (AU) Commission, Addis Ababa. He works with AU Member States, Regional Economic Communities and other partners to boost rural economic and agricultural sector development. Prior to joining the AU, he was the Head of IFPRI's Eastern and Southern Africa Office. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia (USA).
Andrew Mushita
MembreExecutive Director of the Community Technology Development Trust (CTDT), Zimbabwe. His field of expertise spans agricultural biodiversity, seed, food and nutrition security, livelihoods, environment and climate change, and policy and advocacy. Agronomist by training, Andrew has extensive expertise in all aspects of rural development and has participated in numerous national, regional and international policy dialogues on biodiversity, farmer rights, and smallholder food security.
Dr. Adama Traoré
MembreMalian national with a PhD in Animal Reproduction from Germany. He has served in several national and international agricultural research institutions including IER (Mali), ILRI, CORAF/WECARD and FARA. He served as Interim Director General of the Africa Rice Center (2012–2014) and was appointed Chair of the AfricaSeeds Governing Board in December 2017. He is currently a retired Research Director active as a freelance consultant.
