The Workshop on Measuring the performance of the seed sector will be held from Tuesday 25 to Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Abidjan.The Workshop is co-organized by AfricaSeeds and the Programme for the integrated development of the seed sector (ISSD) in Africa.
The Government of The Netherlands, the GiZ and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have provided financial support.
The Workshop’s objectives are to review existing information initiatives in the seed sector, identify needs and gaps in information and supply and demand of information. In doing so, the Workshop contributes to the provision of instruments to measure the performance of the seed sector in the context of the Comprehensive African Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) Result Framework.
